La Maison Du Chocolat
What's Up Madison?!
Walking down Madison Avenue after my great trip to the Met Museum.
La Maison Du Chocolat - This is a branch of heaven down in Madison Avenue. Promise!
Im sure the Gossip Girl fanatics kept hearing afternoon high tea @ The Carlyle said by Blair Waldorf, all the time!
Another artform outside the Museum. Louboutin!
Reese Witherspoon are you there?
And a bunch more. Beautiful stores that offer timeless, classic, high end and gorgeous creations.
Soo inspiring that would make anyone scream, " I wanna!"

Food Test
At work, someone who's a food and restaurant consultant gave me a box of chocolate to try out.

Called Coco Delice. A chocolate company based out of San Francisco, that is trying to see and test the market for a possible launch in MY NEW YORK.
And I was asked to make a sorta test and see what I think and taste about this particular brand of chocolate.
How can I resist?!

I had this batch called Rustic Bittersweet Truffles.

First is the packaging. In a brown box with swirly fonts. Says "Coco Delice" on 2 sides and "Fine Chocolates" on the other 2 sides.
For me, once I read it's fine chocolate, it better be fine chocolate.
Tho, I am not a big fan of dark chocolate. So I am expecting some bitter tasting chocolate.
But this one I find subtle in taste. The dark chocolate wasn't too loud in flavor. I guess the hint of some berries mixed in(?), made it a little easy for my taste. Gives a lil sweetness to it.
I love my chocolates sweet, period
Tho the texture is so so. Marbly to begin. The chocolate powder on the outside is kinda un-smooth on my palate and gives a not so good first impression. But taste wise, it is a go!
If this company is planning to launch in MY NEW YORK, it better be ready to face some serious bouts. Places like Godiva, La Maison du Chocolat and a bunch more, it will be very hard to be the underdog since most chocolate lovers tend be very loyal.
Goodluck.
